I closed my eyes and waited for unconsciousness to creep my system. Aware that even in sleep, I won’t ever be free to escape from this horror.

My dream was nebulous. There was a blurry image of Seth’s family, hovering and mourning over something. I rubbed my eyes with my fingers, forcing to rake them out of their sockets.
