The DRIVE

The blog was conceived through  the marriage of passion for literary works and the desire for the enhancement of Education.

The blog will have students’ creative creation as it core content. It will use literary works as springboards in developing and enriching students’ competence in the use of the English Language.

Literature is a human creation that contains Man’s past, present and future. Hence, sealed in every expression are the emotions, perspectives, beliefs, and cultures of Humanity. Through it, the great gap that lies between generations are linked;thus, understanding is fostered, commonality is seen and  life is appreciated.

As a teacher, considering these essences, I must secure that my students continuously have these things within their reach. Gone are the days when  students crowd the libraries in search for educational materials. Gone are the days when distances serve as a barrier in the many human activities. Hence, it is the demand of time that I must keep pace with the present generation that I may fulfill my Professional  Duties.

I am determined to live up to the challenge not because it is my professional obligation; but,  because it is my act of worship to the Almighty.
